Hi, this is Dave Holland with Veterans National Mortgage. So how can we help you with your mortgage needs? We are an independent mortgage broker here in San Diego, California that handles all of California and Colorado. We do specialize in VA loans. But we can handle any type of residential mortgage transaction, whether it be a purchase, or a refinance. Firstly step is experience, we have over 25 years of experience in the mortgage and real estate industry.

Secondly, is money. We charge less fees, and we have lower interest rates. The difference with us being an independent mortgage brokerage is we shop all of the lenders for you versus just one lender. Every lender has different criteria and niches that they follow. So we find the lender that matches up with the consumer. And then we help facilitate that transaction for you. We can save you money on both interest rates and fees. Imagine if you could save three, four, or $500 a month on your interest rate. Thirdly, is speed, in this market, it’s more critical than ever, that you have a mortgage company that can close your loan fast and efficiently. Speed can make the difference of whether you get a home or you don’t get a home. So it’s very important that you have a mortgage company that can not only close your loan, but close it fast and save you time and money. Our typical close times are under 21 days, some as low as 15 days. Whereas some of the big banks are 45 to 60 days to close your loan. The seller will not wait 60 days to get their money.

Fourthly, and most importantly is communication. This part you may not know, but communication is actually the most important part of a real estate transaction. Us as a mortgage company, we contact all of the parties to let them know what’s happening in each and every milestone of your transaction from start to finish.
